As time goes on past this election, this website becomes more and more necessary for people to see. It looks like a scary time to see people who actually want to come after Muslim people because they see us as a threat. I'd like for people to know that we are not the killers that a small group of people make us to be. We were born and raised in this country too and we are just as affected by their damage as anyone else is.

As the author of this project, I took it upon myself to make a general positive impact on anyone who reads or goes through the website. Being a Muslim myself means that I have to uphold my own standards for how I want to be treated with others. It means that I needed to create an image to show that I am truly a peaceful and innocent person as I explain throughout the pages on my website. My audience could branch out to the broader world and I would need to make a defending case among them for who I really am. They see Muslims through what the media shows them. But rarely do they see it from an actual Muslim. My job on this project was to share an unheard voice. Hopefully I can offer that through the work I have created.
After English 101, I will most likely leave the website for a bit. For now I will just share it with my friends and family and show them what I have created. However, I believe it will make a resurgence in future endeavors following the recent election. It may come back to make arugments against the recent issues with Muslims living in the United States. It may also help to further define what is going on in this country and how we can help make a better place for everyone. I can eventually add on more information on the topic to help give a better understanding to the readers and viewers of the website.
I am not typically a person who is very focused on writing. I have mostly only written in an academic setting when required and even then, it would be the least as possible. I am very oriented towards expression in other manners rather than writing. As a writer I have definitely gotten better throughout the years. I started as a very unsophisticated writer who was unable to make coherent arguments in certain issues. Through development, I was able to expand knowledge on such issues and eventually come to a creative standpoint where I can effectively communicate a rationale. The hardest part about writing is always starting. Once it's off the ground though, the ideas just flow and I can fluidly express what I want. The issue is just getting started. As a person, I hate proofreading. I always feel like I am a one-and-done type of person but that usually proves to be very harmful in the long run. I can save myself much more time and points usually if I just look back at my work.
When I start to write, I learned that I should develop the evidence first prior to anything. Once the evidence is established, I can make a thesis and attack all the issues I am trying to combat. Since high school, I can definitely say I have learned to better express myself in writing. That was usually a difficult issue for me because I could not put to words what I was feeling in a moment. However, I believe I have it figured out. Stakeholders are those that are directly involved with a project. However, they can also be people who are associated with or related to the project. In class we were asked to make a list of stakeholders involved in our project:
The biggest thing with digital media is learning to write in a manner which portrays aesthetics on the website rather than just the content. There must be spatial movement instead of just important content to put down. However, this doesn't diminish the fact that the content must be clear, concise, and accurate. In order to make the website appealing, the content must be in the right place, be concise, and must beeasily navigable.
